Meet Our Team
Director Robert Thompson
Public Works Director
Director Thompson has been with Demo City for 12 years, overseeing all public works operations. He's a licensed engineer and passionate about sustainable infrastructure.
Supervisor Lisa Park
Maintenance Supervisor
Supervisor Park manages our field operations and maintenance crews. With 15 years of experience, she ensures our city stays in top shape!
Current Projects
Downtown Street Improvement Project
We're currently resurfacing Main Street and adding new sidewalks and bike lanes. Expected completion: March 2026.
Community Park Renovation
Upgrading playground equipment and adding new picnic areas at Central Park. Work is scheduled to begin in February 2026.
Water Main Replacement
Replacing aging water mains in the historic district. This project will improve water quality and reduce service interruptions.
Trash & Recycling Schedule
Garbage Collection: Every Tuesday and Friday
Recycling: Every Friday (blue bins)
Yard Waste: Every Wednesday (green bins)
Bulk Items: Call to schedule pickup
Please have items at the curb by 6:00 AM on collection days.
Street Sweeping Schedule
Street sweeping occurs on the first and third Monday of each month. Please move your vehicles from the street during these times to allow for thorough cleaning.
Signs are posted in each neighborhood 24 hours before sweeping begins.
Snow Removal Information
During winter weather, our crews work around the clock to clear streets. Priority routes (main streets, school routes, and emergency routes) are cleared first, followed by residential streets.
Help us help you: Please remove vehicles from the street during snow events to allow for efficient plowing.
