About the City Council
The Demo City Council is the legislative body of city government, responsible for making laws, setting policies, and representing the interests of all Demo City residents. The council consists of five council members elected by district, plus the mayor who is elected at-large.
Council meetings are held on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM in the City Hall Council Chambers. All meetings are open to the public, and we encourage residents to attend and participate in public comment sessions.

How to Participate
Attend a Meeting
All council meetings are open to the public. Meetings are held on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM in the City Hall Council Chambers. No registration required - just show up!
Public Comment
Each council meeting includes a public comment period where residents can address the council on any topic. Speakers are typically given 3 minutes to speak. Sign up at the meeting or contact the city clerk in advance.
